This one-bedroom apartment hadn’t been renovated since the 1980s. Our team was brought in to execute a full gut renovation, managing both design and build to deliver a turnkey, modern home that maximizes space and function.

Working closely with the client, we reimagined the apartment with a clean, minimalist aesthetic that worked with the compact layout of the apartment.

A full kitchen renovation included custom high-gloss cabinetry, Calacatta gold marble counters & backsplashes, panel-ready appliances, and carefully integrated storage solutions. A built-in bench with Shinoki milk oak veneer cleverly conceals heating and AC systems, with coordinated grills hidden within the cabinetry.

The bathroom features Carrara White marble tiles, a simple milk oak vanity, and a Calacatta gold marble vanity. Matte black door hardware and fixtures are carried throughout the apartment.

Cabane was asked by the client to collate the furniture, soft furnishings, art and objects. In collaboration with the client we selected a mixture of furnishing to add texture and warmth, bringing in a mix of leathers, boucle, velvet fabrics creating visual interest against the sleek architectural finishes. Careful selections of stone furnishings and decor help to add interest along with accents of color.
